The setting behind the adventures!  The WORLD OF STRONGHOLD is a detailed, but free-form, setting for classic fantasy gaming!   After the Tortured Century, the realms of humanity are all but swept away.  Isolated fortresses, remote citadels, and far-flung city-states are barely linked by dangerous trails and shattered roads from the former ages of glory.  As  a new epoch dawns, ancient treasures, forgotten evils, and shattered ruins are all waiting for your characters!

 

 
 

MIDDLESEA

 

Great galleys and caravels ply the trade lanes of Middlesea, battling pirates, monsters, and dark and unspeakable menaces from the deeps.  In the frozen seas of the north,  longships and whalers compete for plunder and cargo, while merchant princes and nobles of "civilized" states compete in the southern seas to explore their world and expand their power.  Designed for "Advanced" rules and games, Middlesea provides a unique setting of maritime travel, trade, exploration and combat as well as sinister secrets of seaside towns and legendary realms of giants, elementals, and undersea terrors!
